Freestyle

I went home for the Thanksgiving holiday. I am from Decatur, a city inside of Atlanta. I packed up my car and I was headed on the 3 hour car drive home. I was so excited because I hadn’t been home in months. I got to see my two dogs, my mom, my grandfather, my aunt, uncles, and cousins. I was very happy to be able to have an awesome home cooked meal. I’m used to being in college eating whatever I can afford or the snacks inside my drawers. It was delicious. We had fall off the bone turkey, honey baked ham, homemade mashed potatoes, stick rolls, stuffing, green beans, deviled eggs, pumpkin pie, pecan pie and vanilla ice cream. I was full, and I got to bring some back with me. Too bad I finished the plate the night I came back to Statesboro, so it’s back to college food, but that’s better than no food.
